Brenda @teabreaks As far as I know the new EU VAT rules coming in on 1st January are only for digital sales.
ie People selling pdf patterns, jpegs, digital downloads. It doesn’t apply to physical goods being sold over the internet.

I think you will find your policies contravene the EU distance selling regulations. Insurance is for your benefit and not the customers, you are responsible for the delivery of the package whether they ‘upgrade’ or not.
