Morning Artisans, I got some lovely feedback from a customer on my Facebook page yesterday, it was for two pieces I sold at the weekend, including an alphabet letter, she said unwrapping it felt like it was her birthday, I’m so pleased. Actually, whilst sales seem incredibly slow this month, and I think it’s the mood of the country to be honest, I may be wrong… Roz says her sales are down on Jan to April last year, but mine are actually better! But I had only just got into the habit of posting and item a day and promoting it via social media a few months before last year, so that may well be the reason for me! Anyway onto today’s listing, I do hope your not getting bored with these as there’s Plenty more to go…

Roz @OrchardFelts I think Sue @SueTrevor is right, people aren’t shopping anywhere - a quote from The Guardian:
“Retail sales fell by 1.4% during the first three months of 2017 as shoppers were put off by rising prices. It was the biggest quarterly fall in sales since 2010.”

Currently doing battle with our energy suppliers. We’re currently £300 in credit and they want to put our bill up by another £340 a year - that’ll be a £640 increase on what we’ve actually used. Not happy - waiting for them either to back down or provide me with the figures so I can switch - which is a real pain in the butt if it goes as badly as it did last time 
Just another re-list from me today - my fingers are itching to make something new but I can’t justify adding more new stock until the older items sell. Perhaps I can force myself to make something pretty for myself

Another relist, I am only making commissions at the mo, I have enough stock - so am taking it a bit easy. Husband has decided to take me and daughter to St Ives for the weekend to try and cheer us up. What a sweety

Good afternoon Artisans, yay happy dancing for your sale Deborah. Your comment promted me to check too Roz, on here I’m also down by about 25%, but picture is much better over t’other side, up from 6 to 24, overall my sales are higher than last year by around 150% from 24 to 37 this year, though it does feel a lot quieter.

Yes it does seem very up and down, I think it just reflects the state of the economy on the whole. It will all turn around, I am sure
