A black clay ceramic moon jar, with oriental inspiration. Handmade rather than thrown on the wheel, with trims and decoration inspired by Korean traditions. Some areas left matt natural clay, some glazed with iron lustre glaze.

I had fun making this brooch, using silver wire and an old jet bead. The wire forms the pin at the back too.

My first attempt to use liver of sulphur to turn silver black. Worked well.
