I have all of my photos in multiple folders on my iPad and spend ages searching for the one that I want when I list an item or use a photo for social media. Then suddenly about 2 weeks ago, my iPad started keeping the photo I’d just used on Instagram at the very top of my photo stream, no matter where it was before. I thought that it was an amazing new feature and it saved me so much time for a couple of weeks but now it’s suddenly stopped doing it. I have no idea why this happened but it was soooo useful - I feel a bit narked that it’s suddenly stopped.
Also, why do my folders of photos appear in totally different places for all the different social media sites? They are in alphabetical order for Instagram, totally random for Facebook and different again for Pinterest - it’s really annoying when you’re in a hurry and can’t find the photo you want.
Hi Martine. So I don’t use apple myself, but on my phone I have an option to sort each folder by date modified - I’m not certain that will do it but that might be worth a try if you have that option. No idea on the social media uploads though sorry - FB definitely has a mind of it’s own too!!
Hi Martine, I can’t help on why the photo was at the top of your stream, unless you made changes to it before uploading, which would have changed the date on it.
You can sort the Albums on your iPad to any order you like. In ‘My Albums’ select Edit, then you can drag the order around. I’m fairly certain you can order your folders on Pinterest too.
Hope that helps x
Thank you.
You can organise your photo albums in photos but when you go on different social media sites and want to choose a photo, the albums are all in a different order for each site.
