Daily Listing and Promotion Challenge July 2026

Hello and welcome to the July Daily Listing and Promotion Challenge Thread

The challenge is to list and post your item to this thread, then visit all the other participating shops via their daily link AND :heart: that listing in their shop.

It does take a little time each day but it is a fun way to showcase your makes and gain lots of useful info and support.

HOW TO TAKE PART (AND THE RULES)

Post your item for the day to the Challenge thread by copying and pasting the item URL from your Folksy Shop (don’t worry if you are not sure when you start just ask and someone will help). You can post a newly listed item or something already in your shop, it does not matter.

On the Challenge thread click on the links for everyone’s posted item, this will take you to the item in their shop, and hit the items :heart: - this gives the listing a brief appearance on the Folksy front page under ‘Popular Right Now’ (this is the main rule for taking part in the Challenge)

The idea is we all do the same for everyone on the thread which gives us all an extra boost, along with virtual hugs and support from everyone in this lovely community.

If you have time you can also promote fellow listers outside of Folksy by pinning on Pinterest, making a Folksy Friday Board, posting on Facebook or Instagram etc.

Don’t forget you can also help by liking/commenting on other peoples group promotions on social media if you can’t post your own.

If you have a Folksy sale while taking part in the Challenge thread post a message on the thread and tag me @hedgerowtales as I’ll keep a tally of all sales. And we can all celebrate and have a happy dance with you.

Good Morning all! How is it July already? Where does the time go eh? Thank you to Eszter @hedgerowtales for being Mother!

I am going away on my holidays on the 24th so will be in holiday mode from then till the 1st of august, I’ll still pop on in and do all my faves though don’t you worry!

I have just uploaded a bunch of new listings so I’m going to start working my way down the list. Today I have a wire wrapped labradorite pendant, for you. I actually made these during the lockdowns and they’ve sat in storage. Well no longer! They’ve been polished up, given lovely cord necklaces to hang on and pretty presentation boxes. I do love wire wrapping and intend to make more things like this as part of my Love Tokens collection.

A relist from me today as only just back from holiday and not had chance to get my sewing machine out yet!

This item is being relisted from the 30th June as Hilary pointed out the title which contained a set number (eg. Set 4) was very confusing. I have therefore amended the title of the earrings box sets to have a descriptive name in the title rather than a set number. Many thanks to Hilary for alerting me to this.

YUK warning…
I have a streaming summer cold…working my way through loads of tissues…sniff sniff…sneeze…
Last night, I armed myself with tissues, duly placed on both sides of the bed because I knew I would be constantly waking in the night with the need to blow my nose. Woke at 2 am…leant over for a tissue and blew my nose on a scrunchie.!!!

I would have binned it , but it is a beautiful purple one…lol

Morning everyone.
Coming back in June didn’t really work out, so I’m trying again for July!
Life has been just a bit too lifey lately but it seems to be calming down so I’m jumping back in.
