Morning all. I am back again after a lovely long weekend away in Utrecht - 4 whole days without a single drop if rain!
Have started favouriting again this morning and reading through to catch up on the news. Some lovely photos - weddings, cats etc. Lots of sales including USA ( not for me!) ( congrats to those that got them) But also not so good news of painful wrists and jaws and not feeling so good ( hope those affected get well soon). Life has its ups and downs, and you can find it all on this thread.
Here is another peg bag from me. This one is listed as a second as it is a bit wonky at the top, but still perfectly functionable. It has the advantage over my other peg bags in that it has the patchwork design of the reverse as well as the front, so if it wasnt wonky I may well have charged a bit more than my usual peg bag price as more work went into it.

Morning everyone. Thank you for your kind remarks about my sore jaw. The dentist was really helpful albeit that it seems it is one of these things that one can’t do much for. It’s apparently temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and the management is to eat soft food to avoid inflaming the joint further and take paracetamol. But she said that there were other things to try: exercises, night mouth guard and, as a last resort, referral to the dental hospital if those things haven’t worked in about three weeks. So I am reassured that I know what it is and that I am being looked after.
A busy day today so I am putting up a relist as it’s quicker. I have a new listing for tomorrow. If you’ve liked this one before, then please don’t worry, or, if you are feeling generous and have time, please choose something else from my shop to like. Good Morning all,
Reading back about your tales of Photo id’s.
Until January last year I did not have any, my passport expired years ago and as we have not been abroad for 20-odd years seen no need to renew it. I had an old pink paper style driving license, again not needed anything doing to it since we moved into this house 30 years ago. But last year I was in a situation that I needed photo id so I upgraded my DL, which turned out to be quite easy but………… The photograph is awful, I hate having my photo taken at the best of times. So off I trolled to Max Speilman never giving a thought to what I was wearing… sat there feeling very hot and bothered as was sat in direct sunlight which was pouring through about 3 windows, thus magnifying its strength… then… I started with a hot flush and yes you guessed it… I was wearing a bright red polo neck hand-knitted thick aran jumper. The resulting photo’s are bad enough to scare young children and animals
Anyway - Here’s mine for today

Thanks for the photo love - I’ll pass on the praise to the photographer when he gets back from work. Bude is 10 minutes from the MiL’s care home, so we usually pop over there after our weekly visit. I love it out of season, when it’s just a few locals with their dogs.

Thanks Hilary. I suspect that your wrist is far more painful. These ‘wait until it gets better’ issues where’s there’s not much you can do to speed recovery up, are frustrating aren’t they?

Yes I use my bus pass it is an official ID because I don’t have a current passport or driving licence, having said that your passport can be used as ID even if it has expired …. Not for travelling obviously !

My mojo has gone on holiday, do hope warm and dry as this weather is getting me down. Cannot be asked to do anything. Today nothing, tomorrow probably nothing. Got to snap out of this before go down a rabbit hole.
