Discontinued sale stock

Morning just a heads up we have reduced a few of our items as we are making way for some newly made creations and we are working on new designs and collections in the coming months, if you are looking for a last minute gift or a little treat for yourself then do popover.

Are you going to take part in the Summer Seconds Event too, although hopefully you sell them before August. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Hi Sarah @sarahloucrafts to be honest I didn’t know they was one, or I can’t remember seeing it, old age lol :joy: we don’t have many items on sale just now but they maybe more in the coming weeks..

You should have had an email and there should be a banner at the top of your dashboard too. Here’s the blog post.

To take part in the summer seconds weekend do I have to create a collection for summer seconds? New to Folksy and haven’t put anything in a sale before.. I understand that I have to use the tag etc but does that automatically create a sales window or is that for me to do? Thanks

Hi, Jill. I have created a collection for my Summer Seconds to make it easier to share when I am promoting the event.

As Sarah as said it would be easier for the event You will have to put the items in sale mode it’s under price on each item

Okay, so my next question is how do I put items into sale mode? I’ve created a collection called summer seconds now but how do I transfer items to the collection and where is sale mode? Thank you everyone for all your help BTW

If you go on to Edit your item, then scroll down to the price, there is a space to put a sale price in underneath. Dont forget to then scroll down to the bottom to click on the button to save changes!

To add or move existing listings into collections on Folksy, go to your Shop Dashboard, open the Shopkeeping page under shop settings, and click on the title of the collection you want the item assigned to. An item can belong to multiple collections at the same time. [1, 2]

Steps to Manage Collections

  • Go to your Folksy Dashboard and select Shopkeeping.
  • Find the item you want to move.
  • Click on the collection title/box next to the listing to add or remove it. Highlighted titles mean the item is in that collection.
  • To create a brand new collection first, go to your Collections page from the dashboard menu

Thank you ladies, you’ve all helped me so much. I’ve learnt so much in the past couple of weeks, before folksy I only used the laptop to spend money :joy: I’m actually feeling like part of a wonderful community and gained confidence in what I can do.
