# Favouriting items and shops

Just a thought that popped into my head whilst in my dashboard earlier - is it the case that only people who are registered with folksy can favourite items and shops? I would imagine that it is, but just wondered if anyone knew?

I believe that’s the case. If you’re not logged in and you click on “favourite”, it invites you to sign in, so that the item is included in your favourites.

Ah, fab, thank you! It did make sense to me but I just wondered. I’ve had a lot of overnight views of one of my items, looking on google analytics they’re mostly American and the item doesn’t have any favourites so I would imagine a link has popped up somewhere and guest buyers are visiting the page but not able to favourite it. Makes sense x
