Apologies for absence. I’ve been trying to re-enter my life with grace after Iceland. Nurtured and grumpy. Anyway, got some photo canvases maybe up of a favourite piece of mind and listed it here. Also going to spread the word on social media too as part of another challenge there with Tara Leaver #21daysinmyartworld. And today’s prompt is SOLD. That’s the aim.

I am still on the Russian Spirals (sounds like an addiction doesn’t it?). I have just counted up, I have another waiting to be listed tomorrow (hopefully) and nine more waiting to be made for which I have the bead collections all purchased and lined up. OK, I admit it, I’m a beadaholic

I just made a major business purchase today and I am both excited and scared witless!
It’s a new wheel with specialised wheel head and stool. It cost so much money - more than my car!
The wheel that I have been using is a major work horse that I got secondhand from a potter friend years ago. It is big and I can never seem to get myself sat close enough to the work. It also makes so much noise.
My new one is supposed to be whisper quiet and I should be able to get right above the work, so hopefully my throwing will now improve!
I am going to keep my big one for a while though, just in case!! lol

Hope everyone well . The lurgy thing does hang about and reappears now and again . I only just feel right, since Christmas. So take it easy Karen @karenscraftybitz and others who are under the weather.
Hope the assessment works out for the positive Roz @OrchardFelts and any follow up support is useful . It takes time to get used to it (the support) and reap the benefits ,which may be why my daughter struggled with the dissertation.

Well… there was lunch (tomato and lentil soup), emailed some regulars (we go for tea and biscuits and I show them new rocks that I think they will like and they tell me what else to keep an eye out for), took the last of the photos for my ‘history of fordite’ and wrote some more of the words (some customers were asking if I could do one at some point), cleared a multitude of beads off my computer desk by turning them into a necklace and looked up how to get to Hanoi gem market (not easy when the address starts Alley 456 but number 14 or 45 bus will get me there or (based on previous experience of getting lost on foreign buses) a taxi). There was some tea and cashew nuts in there at some point too.
