Good morning all, there is such a lot of fabulous work on here and I am sorry I don’t comment individually . The reason is that I am terrified of missing someone out and then them feeling that I don’t like their work. Everyone is SO talented and I wish I could afford to buy something from everyone.
Yesterday was a weird day…it started badly with a letter from HMRC wanting money…and I have already paid it (mini panic mode until I spoke to my accountant). Of course I don’t earn enough to have anything to pay, but HMRC in their wisdom gave me a wrong tax code when hubby died and so it was complicated last year
. On a good note, my son decided to send a picture of my garage door to the Welsh Newspaper “Wales Online” and they phoned and are coming to take pics in the next few days…watch this space !
I DID manage to do some painting yesterday and I listed this one.

Good morning
I also commiserate with anyone doing commissions. I find that if I know something has to be made for a certain time I keep putting it off.
The worse thing to me is someone saying “You can sew can’t you?” and asking for something I would hate to do.
I had an aunt years ago who would buy a size 16 in the sales and want it made into a size 10 and saying it just needs taking in a bit. The sewing people among you will understand.
