Back again. Visitors left yesterday morning but then we got on with catching up including on here.
Good wishes to the poorly members.
Relisting still
Oh! I can almost smell the bread cooking Suzzie, there’s nothing like home cooked bread…
I’ve had a go at all sorts but these days mostly white loaves because the texture & flavour is so beautiful & simple - We don’t get any of the bloating or other bad things people are associating with bread eating. You’re right - it’s no effort & the smell is lovely!
I use white organic flour, organic fresh yeast, cornish sea salt & water. We find a couple of slices substantial & filling - tho it’s impossible not to eat a whole one of the loaves (buttered slices) if it’s fresh out of the oven close to meal times! If I need to speed up the proving &/or rising, I stick the dough in an unheated oven above a tray of boiled steaming water - the yeast loves that! …Yummmmm love the idea of your fruit loaf.
We don’t really eat pasta but we are potato lovers! I’ve a thing for potato & mayo that would horrify most people - I’ve also a thing for steamed tomatoes in sandwiches, but that’s another story….
I’ve caught back up with the loving/pinning/news in dribs and drabs. The downside of that is that I can’t remember the news - sorry (memory like a sieve!)
Last night was horrendous - a night of constant nagging, unrelenting ache in the top of my arm which wasn’t eased by any amount of changing position or taking co-codamol. I only slept in short snatches each time exhaustion overcame pain. Consequently I went to see the duty Dr at the surgery this morning and have been prescribed some strong anti-inflammatories to take instead of ibuprofen and alongside the co-codamol. Fingers crossed!! Eight days to the injection and counting!
Max @MaxPringJewellery, I have another 2 sales to report please.
My new listing is a toiletry bag, as I haven’t made any for a while and my stock has dwindled away.
Is anyone on this thread in contact with Steph @stephshortstationery? I know she was taking a little break but I wondered how she was doing? x

@PocketfulCreations Helen, I hope you get pain free quickly…sounds nasty x

Afternoon all,
I envy all you bread makers, there is nothing nicer than home made bread, I think it is my favorite food, unfortunately it makes me very fat, so I try and resist
Afternoon
Is it ok if I join in again? In my absence from listing I have been loving all the beautiful work on here.
I have had the summer off, needed to recharge my mojo batteries, get garden therapy, holiday therapy and home therapy, think it has all worked lol
Here is my new listing for today
Carol xx
Hi Elly, just had a look at your bee, the options works a treat, but it says available in pink red and purple, in the pics there is orange , yellow and purple, It would be good if the options related to the colours one saw in the pics, I do think the colour way in the main photo should be available as that is what lured the customer in in the first place.
Just popping in to report a sale please Max @MaxPringJewellery to someone who has joined in on this month’s thread thank you
Thank you everyone for my birthday wishes. So sorry to hear that so many of you are still poorly sending you all warm wishes for a speedy recovery.
That is a great piece of news Brenda @teabreaks anything to spread the Folksy word. If we don’t succeed it won’t be from want of trying.
