How will I know if I have sold an item? Do I get an email specifically telling me I have sold something with the buyers address? I’m asking as I have recieved an email, but am not sure if it’s telling me that I’ve sold something or whether the shop that I had a favorite item with has sold two items?
Ignore the above, in my excitement I thought I’d made a sale when it was lovely thank you email. I assume that had I made a sale, I would have at least had an address? What’s confusing is that when I hit “orders” it said these items have been sold from your shop. As I’ve never hit orders before, is that what it normally says?
How strange. Yes, you should get an email - try spam?
When you click on Orders, and it comes up with something that has been sold, clicking on ‘visit this order’ should give the details. Or at least that is what happens on my phone!
Edited …no sorry, the address etc comes up after just clicking on Orders. Strange if you have a sale listed but no address?
You should get 2 emails when you sell something - one from folksy (subject line 'congratulations you made a sale) and one from the payment processor confirming that you’ve got the money.
Could you post a screenshot of what you are seeing on your orders? (Redact any sensitive info before posting) If you are seeing something there but not had any emails in wondering if the payment is still pending.
This appears when I hit orders on the dashboard, is that what is normally there? As I said, never having hit orders before I don’t know if that is normally there?
Ah - I think that is always there. It means " these items" as in " those listed below", and there arent any listed, so sorry to say, but there doesn’t look like there has been a sale.

I am on a laptop and when I get a sale, I get the email “Congratulations you have made a sale”
Then I go to my shop then My dashboard, where it will show the sale, what it is and where to send it.
I go to my dashboard every day to see if I have any sales.
The other thing you might need to know is that Folksy send a bill on the first of every month…BUT if your bill is under £2 then they carry it over to the next month..xx
