Hi everyone.
Over a week ago, we got a lot of feedback that we needed to improve our images. Please, can you rate what you think of our new ones in comparison to the ones on our page?
The one thing we will be changing next time will be to take these photos out in the garden to get better lighting, these were taken indoors and have that yellow tint to them. I used ‘Windows photo editor’ to brighten them up a bit and improve clarity, but there is room for improvement here. I do have Photoshop now and am learning how to use this to improve things further.
These are samples of what we will use just for the primary image and am thinking of reusing some of the current ones for the different angles. What do you think of the layout and design? (ignoring the poor lighting)?
Thanks in advance.

The flatlay is good, especially as it includes the materials, but there are a couple of things you could do alongside that:
- Photograph someone with the bag on their shoulder
- Photograph the bag next to something that’s a ‘standard size’ ie a door so people have an idea of the dimensions with a quick glance.
- For the objects next to the bag you could also put something that’s relevant to your target audience ie if it’s intended to be used as a book bag, include books in the photo.
The material on the bag is lovely, by the way!

I’m rubbish at working out sizes from photos. I’m even worse at looking at my ruler and working it out from that. So for the second or third picture, I’d really like to see a person wearing the bag, and maybe a shot from above with the bag with normal bag things in it (phone, keys, book - OK I don’t expect you to include 15 old receipts from ASDA and half a pack of Polos so maybe not that normal).
