Hi. I am probably not the best person to give any advice, as I too have had no sales for months.
However I had a peep at your shop and noticed two things. Firstly your Titles are all the same and just have two words. There is scope for a lot more information that would help things get picked up in searches. Likewise, I didn’t see that you are using any tags. Making use of those would help your items come up when prospective buyers search. Your work is such that it will appeal to a niche market, so you need to use all the ways you can to get your items in front of the right people.
Hope that helps. Hope you get some sales soon.
Hi There,
Yes! I agree! Thank You so much!

Hi Sally-Anne, I’ve had a look at your shop and agree with Liz’s comments. Your item description needs to provide much more information as the search algorithm starts with this so for example the title could be something like Fairy Drawing Collection. Fairy Wall Art. Set of ten unique fairy drawings. I would also add more to your description such as
Step into a world of magic and imagination with this enchanting set of ten original fairy drawings. Each piece captures whimsical charm and delicate detail, bringing a touch of fantasy to your home or creative space.
This set 10 unique A4 size fairy drawings has been hand drawn using Sharpie pens, pastel, and pencil. Each image is unique and full of imagination and individual character. Etc.
I also noticed on some listings you haven’t stated whether the listing is for one drawing or all of the ones photographed or whether as a customer they choose which one they want.
Tags are vital, include as many as you can. Fairy wall art, fairy pictures, fantasy wall art etc. think what you would search for if you were a customer looking for your work.
I hope this is helpful and that you get some sales soon.
One other thing is I noticed you have deleted the listings for sold items. I wouldn’t do that as anyone checking out your reviews or clicking on ‘items sold’ doesn’t get to see anything. Even though the sold item isn’t available it’s good for potential customers to see what a reviewer is talking about and they may even message you to see if you can make a similar item…
I agree with Hilary, you need more details and tbh I would never buy 10 of the same design, even if in a different colour way.
What are they drawn on? Canvas board, paper? Who are they aimed at, what is your customer base? What age group?
Your shop name Picture Diary Art thought they were to do with diaries so a bit confusing. Look at them from a perspective of a customer not as the creator.
Hi There!
All points taken on board…
Thank You!

Hi There,
I had absolutely no idea that had happened.
Thank You!
I agree with all of the above…your drawings are lovely but are they framed.?..does the customer need to buy their own frame?..are they on paper? card?
It says set of ten…so do you get 10 x A4 original drawings for £10 ?
Are they individually signed…?
It isn’t clear at all…you need to be more specific
Are they prints?..
Hi There,
Thank You So Much For Your Feedback.
I Will Take All On Board…

Hi Picture diary…you don’t have your name at the top of your shop so I can’t say a proper hello. Often people choose to buy from an artist because it’s far more personal than buying from the high street, I would start by adding your name to the top of your shop page, if you look at all the replies on here they all have the names of the artist, it’s also much nicer of someone needs to contact you with a question and it’s how we all get to know each other on the forum. I know and even remember all the names of the people that regularly interact on here.
I agree with what everyone else has said, there is a lot more you could do with your shop to encourage buyers and to get your artwork seen.
I only clicked on one item, I believe it was a collection and the photos showed different coloured images but your description didn’t tell me anything at all, do I get all of the pictures or just one ? I know to you the word collection probably means all 10 of them however, the word collection is used a lot by artists when they use a particular theme or similar. I have a ‘Signature collection’ of bears in my shop, these are all smaller bears, sewn in the same way and all have embroidery, they are so called because this style was the style that started me on my journey so the word collection doesn’t necessary tell me i will receive all 10…will I receive them ? I’m only presuming that is what you meant.
I wouldn’t buy from a shop unless I knew from the description exactly what I was buying so as others have already said there is a lot of extra detail you need to include.
This year has also been much slower than previous years for many artists, I see it everyday on socials, it’s getting much harder to reach people so you need to do as much as possible to help your work get seen by potential customers,
Good luck, I’m sure the changes will make a big difference.
Hi There,
I will take on board all of your suggestions.
Thank You So Much!
