Put it this way, I’m not going to browse Folksy any more until these pictures are gone. I’ve managed to preserve my innocence for over 50 years now, once you’ve seen something you can’t forget you’ve seen it. I’m very careful which websites I look at, what TV I watch, books I read etc to avoid seeing anything rude. If Folksy were to become a site where ‘erotica’ was acceptable then it would necessarily become a site I must avoid.
I would think Folksy would have to be very careful what it allows on it’s sight due to our Nations laws on pornography and so called erotic art can be classified as pornographic in nature and therefore would not be allowed on sale to the general public.
And don’t forget there’s also the laws groverning the use of telecommunications Act so it’s a minefield that Folksy may not wish to become embroiled into. As the fines can be excessive and can get sites shut down.

I’m not sure what shop you are talking about, but I did a search typing a particular word. Some arty things came up, fair enough. But a particular shop caught my attention with some shocking photos. I’m sorry, that is not art. I’m not going to even click on those listings.
I don’t deny that there is tasteful nude art, but that isn’t how I’d classify these. I’d call them pornographic and unsuitable for an online department store. I wouldn’t expect to see them on show at John Lewis, for example, and don’t think they are appropriate on Folksy.

Yes I noticed that the most graphic have vanished. I’m a teacher too and know how much some kids see but also that I have to be careful what I am associated with. I agree that the artist is talented, the remaining works are very well done.

Can’t delete this!
I’m sure you used to able to delete things you’ve posted by mistake. Can anyone tell me how? Sorry, I’ve had a couple of glasses…
Where the option for edit, etc is there is 3 little dots for ‘show more’ that will give you a waste bin option to delete

There are still some that I don’t consider appropriate on here…
To be honest I don’t have a problem with it someone has taken the time to do that painting or drawing. Yes its not to everyone’s taste but there is lots on here that are not to my taste I just don’t look at them.
Just as well everyone is different
