Hello everyone, Some posts on Showcase threads seem to show the picture with the link and others don’t (including my own on the geometrics thread recently) I’m confused about this - why do pictures sometimes show and not others?

I think I may have answered my own question - do you have to upload a picture as well as the shop item link? the picture seems to appear on the link at first but does it later not show up?

Yes, It seems to be a bug in the Forums (which are not hosted by Folksy so they can’t fix it). The image seems to be there at first, but when you come back it’s gone, and it doesn’t show to anyone else. It onlyaffects links to items in Folksy, links to eg pins seem to show up fine.
That’s why I always also upload the image as well, because I think it’s far more likely someone might click if they can see what it is.

Many thanks for your answer on this Helen, I am glad to have my suspicion confirmed.
