I’ve just received an email from 'square ’ asking me to respond to a poor review stating unprofessional service etc. Theres no review on my folksy page and I have made a sale recently so its possible its related to that. Has anyone else heard of this company/review site? Is it legit? I dont want to engage with it if it’s a scam.
Sounds highly dubious to me. I’d ignore it.

There is a company called square who do card payment machines and online payments for websites (similar to stripe) but I can’t see why they would be involved in a Folksy sale! I’d also ignore personally as it sounds like a scam.

I agree sounds a bit like a scam, if you’re on your laptop etc a good way to detect is to hover your mouse over the of the name of sender where it says who it’s from and the full e-mail should come up, alot of the time the scam ones will show up as just being gobbledygook.

Might be worth Googling for reviews of yourself just to put your mind at rest but it seems very dodgy to me.

Thanks all. I’ll try Google. I tried hovering the mouse, it wasnt gobbldggook, but not a recognizable company either.
