@SueTrevor - I really like the one with the props in - top left.
I also like the one on pure white background for simplicity. Maybe you could use both in your listings.
I do remember being told by Folksy admin when I photographed my items on black backgrounds that I would be less likely to be chosen for front pages or gift guides because with the black background, it didn’t create continuity with other people’s photos. But that was in the time when they were using pinterest compilations on the front page, so that could have changed.
Also, when contacted by magazines etc - they usually want a high res image on a white background, so it;s worth having those photos at the ready too.
I really like it when people use props in their lifestyle shots, as it gives you a glimpse of how the product can fit into an interior or be worn (if jewellery or clothing)
