I wear a scrunchie a lot at home and it has to be a very hot day for me to wear one in public, but that’s more to do with a receding hairline than anything else!

I had no idea that people thought scrunchies were naff…I wear them all the time…love them…at this rate I will have to bin my shell suit !!!

I am wearing one right now…( purple of course )…and when I get to 80 in a few months, I will STILL wear my hair in a ponytail with a scrunchie…xx

When i last had a ponytail i was 13 and I had it cut off because I was about to be the church Rose Queen. I only ever had rubber bands… not even those padded elastic things you can get nowadays.
You can’t see it but it is there !
Sister was two years older at same grammar school so i got her handme down shirts.. note the collar
