I can’t post on any of the colour themed threads because what I make doesn’t come in colours; I don’t have a pink set or a brown set or a green set… I don’t have anything bird themed, or garden themed or unicorn themed.
What I do have is a collection of quirky, fun, unique murder mystery party sets - everything you need to host a murder mystery party in your own home, set around a 3 course meal. And with that, comes a huge amount of confusion as to where and how I advertise them! Where do I belong? Do I even belong?
So if, like me, your items don’t seem to “fit” anywhere, post them here!
I wouldn’t worry that you can’t take part in any of the themed showcase threads - I’m not sure that many of the people posting in them are actually looking at the other items posted they just scroll to the bottom and add their item. (the daily listing one is worth taking part in if you have the time/ items)
As to the how and where to advertise them I’m really not sure - you seem to have facebook sorted, not sure if instagram would work as its more visual, how about twitter? (I never got to grips with twitter) I think you could expand on your descriptions - what’s included in the kit, could it be played with only 7 people, minimum age for participants etc - and tags to help you get found in the internal folksy search. (for tags I wonder if you need to add some to do with ‘party supplies’,‘hen party’?, ‘party games’)
Don’t worry I realised that and since you mention it
no one overriding colour, no unicorns, cats or dogs, no stars or stripes, I think I crowbarred it into a seaside themed thread as its made from waste surfboard resin but how tenuous is that!
