I’ve just received the John Lewis email about trends for home interiors for the new season and their key themes are:
Heritage Revival - classic materials that age well, natural shades, ochre and mallard green.
Contemporary Luxe - bold colour, high gloss finishes, velvet upholstery, dark wood.
Natural Scandinavian (Again!) - which they describe as ‘honest’ materials, architectural shapes, calm and wellbeing.
I’m not suggesting we pinch their ideas, but maybe some could be Folksified for our March themes.

There’s St Davids day on the 1st, but maybe we could also celebrate St Pirans day (Cornwall’s patron saint day) on the 5th March! Plus the usual st Patrick’s day of course!
National old stuff day 2nd March (maybe vintage or repurposed orbupcycled?)
World wildlife day 3rd
British Pie week 1-7th (maybe baking, dishes, ceramics etc?)
Pi day - 14th March a good maths themed one?
21 world poetry day (poems or quotes?)
25th Tolkien day (fantasy theme?)
