Hello lovely Folksy sellers
Please be aware that Viking Direct are incorrectly applying VAT to some of the postage stamps they sell on their site, so if you have purchased any from them recently please make sure you check your invoice and contact their customer services for a refund if you have been charged VAT.
I only noticed this because I was having problems with the PayPal payment keep on being rejected and it turned out that this was because the shopping basket didn’t include the VAT, but when they came to take payment they were applying the VAT so the amounts didn’t match.
This problem doesn’t seem to apply to all of their postage stamps - just the expensive ones
