It certainly is I feel I keep getting things wrong x
Welcome I am new too
Just trying to understand how to do things here
Hi everyone, I’m new been on here a couple months. I’m still getting familiar with folksy and hopefully will pop in on a forum now and again. Currently, I enjoy crafting making cards as I learnt at an art and craft group and I’m also dabbling slowly with watercolours.
My favourite colour is purple which is a common theme in my crafts and often will incorporate florals as my love for plants and nature. I’m neurodivergent so I let the creative direction flow with a multi-passionate approach at a pace that is manageable whilst it also supports my wellbeing and I enjoy learning new skills.
I look forward to being apart of the community ![]()

Hey guys! My name is Karen.
I have just opened a little shop on Folksy
This is one of my items #WIP
She’s my gothic girl
I spend most of my time tinkering with used bottles and crafting unique pieces that are OOAK. I’m a big believer in the ‘cycled’ lifestyle and love making things that have a story to tell.
I build layers of texture, fabric, and “found objects” to create unique, character-led sculptures.
Thank You
Welcome to Folksy Lucy @lucybartcrafts and Karen @vesselsofcuriosity . The forum is a friendly and helpful place to be - and I have already “met” Karen on other threads. Wishing you every success with your shops.

I’ve been on Folksy for a while, but I’m not sure I’ve ever introduced myself here … I’m Heather of heatherandhome and I design and stitch fabric home decorations - lavender-filled and padded hearts, key rings, bunting, Christmas decorations …
Hi there, I’m a returning shop, L’al Maggie, I’m a self taught polymer clay jewellery maker. I was here in 2024 but didn’t do so great so decided to come away and focus on improving my work and building a presence at local markets. I had a really good year doing that, so I’m back to shoot my shot here
I’d love to chat with people, take advice and maybe squeeze a sale or two out if the ether. I’m slowly adding to my shop but as I have a chronic pain issue, I’m not pushing myself too quick.
Pleased to meet you all (again
).
Claire xx
Welcome back to Folksy from me. I only joined in 2024 so must have not overlapped with you before.
Wishing you well with your shop this time around.
Pleased to meet you too, welcome back. I also have chronic pain issues so know exactly what you mean.
Thanks Moira, it sucks doesn’t it xxx
It really does xxx
Hi everyone..
Id like to introduce myself (michala) and my mum (Deborah) we have just opened a shop a few weeks ago but still focusing on the set up.. and busy making home decor pieces.. we are both very creative and have been for many years, but mainly for friends, family and our homes.. so this year we decided to come together open a folksy shop and just see what happens.. we are both happy to be here.. x
Welcome to Folksy from me. I have found Folksy to be very friendly and easy to use, though sales have been sparse. Wishing you every success wirh your shop.
Hello everyone, I am new to Folksy but not new to business, I am Sarah Lou Crafts and am looking forward to taking part in the forum, daily themes and Folksy Friday, if I can workout how they all work.
