Another cosmos brooch, this time with an amethyst…
Just listed this years first Snowman & Tree set
Christmas tree and Snowman turned from beautifully figured English yew from a fallen tree on a farm in Saffron Walden. The tree is 120mm tall and is 52mm at its widest point. The snowman’s head and body is turned from yew and he stands 133mm tall to the top of his panga hat and is 60mm at the fattest part of his tum, with his purple heart nose sticking out a little further than this. His mouth, eyes and buttons are pyrographed. After being sanded smooth the tree is finished in clear lacquer and the snowman with beeswax to a high shine. IMPORTANT! Although fun, these are not toys and should be kept out of the way of small children.
I know its early but when the wood is ready I make them!
I enjoyed painting these shoes on small canvases, great for all us girls and gals and anyone who loves shoes !!!
