Just finished this beautifully grained bowl on a stem.
Beautifully figured bowl and base turned from Cherry and sitting on a candy twist stem which is turned from White Beam and has been finished with ebonising lacquer. The diameter of the bowl of is 127mm and it is 36mm deep, while the whole stands 120mm tall. As this piece is made from three separate turnings it did take some time to complete as the stem had to dry before the piece could be finished but the ebonising does complement the cherry really well. After sanding the bowl and base have been finished with beeswax and buffed to a soft shine.

I’ve listed loads but here’s two of them:

Just listed this Screw Top Needle box.
Stylish needle holder made from white beam wood which has beautiful grain features all around it, the box lid has a hand turned screw thread to ensure it stays nice and snug and a Tudor Rose design has been pyrographed on the lid. It measures 77mm tall and is 43 mm at its widest point, internal depth is 56mm max. After sanding the box has been finished on the inside and outside with beeswax and buffed to a soft sheen.
