This was originally meant to be a round bowl but it didn’t quite come out of the kiln as I had hoped. I’m rather glad it didn’t as I had to rethink it and this is the result instead.

Just listed this lovely vase.
Stylish and quite weighty vase in Spalted Beech and White Oak which I have glued together and then turned this modern stylish shape. The vase has a plastic tube liner so that it can hold real flowers. It stands 184mm tall and is 74mm at its widest point, while the liner is 135mm tall and 28mm wide. After being sanded smooth the outside has been finished with beeswax and inside has been finished with hard wax oil to give some water repellent properties.
