Just listed this family of Owls after selling out at weekend event.
Family of three stylised owls, mom, daughter and son turned in beautifully figured silver birch. Their faces and claws have been pyrographed onto the surface of the wood. Mom stands 101mm tall and is 63mm in diameter, the daughter is 75mm tall by 60mm wide and the son is 68mm tall by 60mm wide. After being sanded smooth they have been finished with beeswax and buffed to a soft shine. Mom has a small resin pocket on her head which has been filled and sanded back ( probably caused by banging it against the wall looking after the two youngsters !!)

Stylised owl turned from beautifully figured English Acacia wood, with the owl’s face and claws pyrographed onto the surface of the wood. The piece measures 108mm tall and is 55mm in diameter. After being sanded smooth it has been finished with beeswax and buffed to a high shine.

Turned these up this morning.
A set of three fruits turned from a selection of beautifully figured woods, comprising a large yew pear (116mm tall), a paduak apple (80mm tall) and a silver birch apple (85mm tall). All three fruits are finished with beeswax and buffed to a soft shine and have a realistic, hand-carved wooden stalk (with accompanying bit underneath!)
