Here’s an invite for you all to join in with the August Daily Listing and Group promotion CHALLENGE. It’s fun and a great way to get a bit of extra Folksy exposure for your lovely listings.
It does take a few minutes each day but it’s well worth it for the fun, group chat and support. We also take great delight in celebrating sales.
Taking part does require a bit of time and commitment, but it is really easy and the group is very supportive.
RULES FOR TAKING PART
List your item for the day.
Click on all of the links for everyone else’s items GO TO THEIR SHOP and hit the items - this gives that listing a brief appearance on the front page - so more chance of getting seen (this is the main rule for joining in)
If you’ve got the time then promote fellow listers outside of Folksy using social media e.g. feature them in a post or pin or do a Folksy Friday board for Instagram - any one of these if you can.
Let us know when you have a Folksy sale by tagging me in a reply, so I can keep a running tally and we can celebrate and happy dance with you.
You must be prepared to join in with the promotion (clicking each link on the thread WHICH TAKES YOU TO THE SHOP and then clicking on the white heart to turn it into a red this is a requirement of joining in)
Missing the odd day is fine and of course joining in for part of the month is fine too, we understand not everyone can be here every single day so just jump in and join from that day forwards (you don’t need to go back and all the earlier listings, you can just jump in and go forward from the day you join).
Charlotte @waxfromthecrypt before you join in, make sure you read the rules , as I see that you only have a few things in your shop at the moment.When you join in, you promise to show a new item every day for a month, so technically, you need 31 items to join in…We would love you to join, just make sure you understand xx
As Brenda says, please read the ‘rules’ as this particular thread is a ‘challenge’ thread, and certain commitments are expected!
It is however a good place to learn about Folksy and meet people as everyone is very friendly and helpful, so if you are planning to add more items to your shop and have a bit of spare time each day, we would love to have you join us x
I’m hopefully ready to re-join. Shoulder/arm are much improved, though making is still slow but I have a head start with a few things ready to list and 2 weeks off work mid August so plenty of time to make more really looking forward to coming back I have missed you lovely lot xx
