Would you like to join in with April’s Daily Listing and Group promotion CHALLENGE thread?
It’s a great way to get a bit of extra Folksy exposure for your listings and get to know people.
Taking part does require a bit of time and commitment, but it is really easy and the group is very supportive.
RULES FOR TAKING PART
List your item for the day.
Click on all of the links for everyone else’s items GO TO THEIR SHOP and hit the items - this gives that listing a brief appearance on the front page - so more chance of getting seen (this is the main rule for joining in )
If you’ve got the time then promote fellow listers outside of Folksy using social media e.g. feature them in a post or pin or do a Folksy Friday board for Instagram - any one of these if you can.
Let us know when you have a Folksy sale by tagging me in a reply, so we can celebrate and happy dance with you.
The idea is we all do the same for everyone on the thread which gives us all an extra boost, there’s also virtual hugs and support - we are a great community, supporting each other along the way!
You must be prepared to join in with the promotion (clicking each link on the thread WHICH TAKES YOU TO THE SHOP and then clicking on the white heart to turn it into a red this is a requirement of joining in)
Missing the odd day is fine and of course joining in for part of the month is fine too, we understand not everyone can be here every single day so just jump in and join from that day forwards (you don’t need to go back and all the earlier listings, you can just jump in and go forward from the day you join)
I am more than happy to join but I’m not sure if I’ve understood the rules correctly as I’ve only joined March one mid-month.
I’ve liked all the items posted currently and happy to do it for April too. As my shop is new and I had some items prepared in advance I have been able to upload a new item every day since joining and posting it for others to like too.
My question is - are we expected to upload a new item to our shop every day and then post it on forum for others to see , or is it ok to re-post some of the older items in the forum as long as we are active every day and keep liking other people’s items?
I think I can realistically upload approx.10+ new creations a month and have a re-list every other day if it’s ok.
You can list new everyday if you can. Otherwise relists are fine. I tend to run out of new items every now and then, so go to listings, copy and list an item, then go back an delete the old listing,
Hi Caroline @Caroleecrafts , I would love to join the April Challenge, but we are lambing at the beginning of April, so I won’t be able to join in at the start of the month, would that be ok?
