Who would like to join the October Daily Listing and Group Promotion Challenge?

Hi

Would you like to join in with the October Daily Listing and Group promotion CHALLENGE. It’s fun and a great way to get a bit of extra Folksy exposure for your lovely listings.

It does take a few minutes each day but it’s well worth it for the fun, group chat and support. We also take great delight in celebrating sales.

Taking part does require a bit of time and commitment, but it is really easy and the group is very supportive.

RULES FOR TAKING PART

List your item for the day.

Click on all of the links for everyone else’s items GO TO THEIR SHOP and hit the items :heart: - this gives that listing a brief appearance on the front page - so more chance of getting seen (this is the main rule for joining in)

If you’ve got the time then promote fellow listers outside of Folksy using social media e.g. feature them in a post or pin or do a Folksy Friday board for Instagram - any one of these if you can.

Let us know when you have a Folksy sale by tagging me in a reply, so I can keep a running tally and we can celebrate and happy dance with you.

You must be prepared to join in with the promotion (clicking each link on the thread WHICH TAKES YOU TO THE SHOP and then clicking on the white heart :white_heart: to turn it into a red :heart: this is a requirement of joining in)

Missing the odd day is fine and of course joining in for part of the month is fine too, we understand not everyone can be here every single day so just jump in and join from that day forwards (you don’t need to go back and :heart: all the earlier listings, you can just jump in and go forward from the day you join).

Sorry, would love to join you but would not have enough new items. Hope you have a good month and the sales fairy is busy. I am sure I will still read the thread every day!

I think I might give it a go :blush: as I’ve never taken part in a daily challenge before can I ask a question? As my memory isn’t that good, can you wait till the late evening to click on the links? I know that I’ll forget who I’ve clicked if I don’t do it all at the same time :sweat_smile:

Hi Jill, would be great to have you with us. You can do the links at any time during the day, a lot of us pop in several times a day as it can take a bit of time. I tend to click the heart on the post (as well as the heart in the actual listing ) so I can see where I’ve got to. But as long as you visit all the links at some point nobody minds how you do it. And everyone is very helpful if you have any problems.

I would love to be back but think my month will be spent trying to get moved in properly after the builders leave. Not sure about my candle making future at the minute :face_with_spiral_eyes: I will see how things go with getting the house organised but as things stand I don’t think I will not be renewing my folksy subscription when it comes due in December, but that might change when/if I manage to get organised :sweat_smile: Hope you all have a good month and I will pop in from time to time :grinning_face:
