I’ve no idea what it was either but I love those wheels on the left hand part, look how those spokes divide from three at the hub to six at the rims, fantastic! 
I’m going to go and have another look (if it’s still there!) next time I’m out that way. See if I can get a closer more detailed look at the mechanics.
