I do love the furry and the fluffy but my animal makes seem to be more the slithery and creepy crawly.

A change for me, I’ve gone back to etching pewter sheet (sterling silver is extortionately priced at the moment) and made a hare broochin this, rather than in the usal silver or copper. Turned out nicely! the interesting thing about pewter (today’s recipe, not the old stuff with lead in it) is that it really doesn’t tarnish, I can get it quite shiny. SNB149|460x400
