although I do fairly well on folksy and am not complainingā¦I do wonder sometimes why things can be slow for some of us. SOā¦I went to do a searchā¦I typed in Paintings and it was 8 pages before I came across one of my paintingsā¦(despite having been here for 10 years and listing EVERY day for the last 4 years!)
So I tried ARTā¦hmmmā¦I got to page 20 and gave up looking for one of mineā¦yet the pages were full of jewellery and other itemsā¦yes they are artistic but not sure about them being ART)
I faired better when searching for aceosā¦and was on page 2ā¦
Grahamā¦I couldnāt even find any of your paintings in my search.
Sometimes I think folksy should rotate the listings on pages, so that everyone gets a fair chance of being seen and foundā¦sighā¦
As I said, I do get sales and am quite happy with Folksy but sometimesā¦

Indeed Brenda, Iāve often found the Folksy search facility not fit for purpose. If I type in āwatercolour artā my first painting appears on page three, despite all my work being tagged āwatercolour artā and my shop being called āwatercolour artā (the only shop with this term in its name).
Frustrating, however i have previously made my thoughts clear on this subject, I question if Folksy seeās any value in original artwork / paintings, I hope they do, Iāve yet to see much evidence tho.
Edited- Its only fair to point out that Folksy do have an āArtā button at the top of their homepage, this allows the viewer to choose from the various medias etc., watercolour included.
