I was thinking of making some other baby gifts like knitted booties, hats etc. When I looked into the regulations with baby clothes it put me off. Do anyone else check their items, like ribbons and buttons for safety? My local trading standards advised me to take photos of testing the items, like hanging weights from the button to test for strength. This all seem a bit extreme, but then again I would hate anything to happen to a baby. Am I just be over cautious?
