Just finished this handy size pin cushion
A pin cushion in a purple, black and white tartan material set into a chunky base turned from beautifully figured white oak which has contrasting light and dark grain. The item stands 92mm tall, is 61mm in diameter at the widest point and comes complete with a few pins. After sanding the item has been finished to a shine with beeswax.

Lush stripes of green ‘grass’ are surmounted by three millefiori daisies in this bold, bright, beautiful pendant. A glassmaking technique which combines and fuses bundles of different coloured glass rods into patterns, cuts them into chunks and embeds them into glass items, Millefiori (literally ‘a thousand’ and ‘flowers’) is widely used for paperweights. Yes, and the same principle is used for seaside rock!
