This is my second go at a Folksy shop. My first, Handmade Little Boxes, never achieved the success I hoped for, really because I never put the time and effort into it that it so is obviously essential. Life just got in the way and so Folksy had to take a back seat for a while. I am only just starting again under a new shop name which this time includes my own name - it’s ‘Christopher Wyatt Originals’. The old name limited the range of products so the new name will allow me to offer a wider variety of products. The one thing I have to get to grips with is creating a space for photographing my products. At the moment I have to move a lot of stuff around before I can start and this is becoming a real drag. I’m currently trying out a number of different solutions and have quite a lot of stuff ready to go in my shop so I need to get this sorted asap. Selling empty boxes is never going to be an easy job but I have a load of new ideas and am determined to succeed this time however long it takes.
