Hello , ummmmm where to start, I’m not very good at this ‘about me malarkey’!… I am the designing/sourcing/sewing/one man band behind DOWN WITH THE KIDS. Everything is handmade in the UK by myself, or my lovely talented helper in times when I don’t have enough hands!

I studied and specialised in fashion and children’s wear and have worked with children from newborn upwards for over 10 years. I believe children should dress like children, but felt many of the kids clothes out there were “not my cup of tea!” so thought I would have a go, thus Down with the Kids began in 2009.

I love sewing and creating so I sat down in my little sweatshop/DOWN WITH THE KIDS HQ/fabric hoarder’s paradise and started creating colourful, playful and most importantly practical items. I am constantly designing new products and regularly updating the range. I also create one-off limited edition specials, which I post on my facebook page.
