I’m Ginette Smith, the name behind The Herbal Soapmaker. I am mum to 3 children - two adult and my baby is 13! I have a crazy yellow labrador called Finn and a sweet siamese called Dara (who is a boy btw). I have making bar soap for 17 years and from here came salves and butters. I still make bath melts, bombs, lip balms and beard oil for family too. My interest in herbs started when I was 18 and grew into an avid interest in aromatherapy and herbal medicine. I have a diploma in herbal medicine too. I love working with natural, sustainable ingredients.
