I can’t get enough of the sheer beauty of the patterns created by the free flowing dye across fabric… ok so sometimes it’s helped or stopped by various patterning techniques but really it’s all brilliant.

Hand painting gives a different result (obviously) and with this I really enjoy the somewhat naive patterns showing slightly imperfect brush marks laying beautiful colour across the cloth in bold stripes or random dots or splodges. I marry up these patterns with bright primary colours to create items that are both pretty, stylish and useful. I hope you like them too.

Each piece is conceived, painted (or dyed), cut out, embroidered, appliquéd and stitched by me in a rural part of Northamptonshire England.
