I live in North Ayrshire in Scotland and work full time as a primary school teacher. In my spare time I like to sew. I started with dressmaking many, many moons ago and over the years I have made curtains, blinds, costumes and quilts. I love making quilts - particularly the geometry of piecing. I love how the whole can be more than the sum of the parts. I am also learning upholstery - and working on a patchwork chair!
