Hi there! I’m Katharine, and I’m the artist behind ‘KRoseCreations’. From a young age I have always liked art and crafting. After not being able to study art at GSCE level, I embarked on a career in science, which I also loved. I concentrated on my science career for several years, but had a desire to create a piece of art I was proud of in my spare time. I have always admired the impressionists for their freedom and vision and dream like qualities in their artworks. After years of trying to emulate my favourite artists to no avail, I tried a different direction and found I was better at more detailed drawings. I developed a love for drawing trees. My pen and ink tree drawings form a large part of my work. I also love creating digital designs, and so from making homemade art pieces embellished with natural sea glass and stones, for friends and my son’s school teachers, the idea of trying to sell my own creations was born. After a lot of encouragement, I have decided to take the plunge and share my creations. I love creating unique gifts for people, that make them smile, so I hope you like my work!
