The painting of the Emperor Dragonfly is finished. Once dried it will be varnished, jewellery findings attached and my latest pendant created.

I’ve nearly finished sewing in the ends on my blanket style ‘Stripes’ shawl and have now started this lovely lacy shawl in orange using the ‘paintbox palette’ pattern from the same designer Laura Strutt from her book new book ‘Modern Crocheted Shawls and Wraps’ which I was lucky enough to win on a Folksy give away.

I have been following this thread for ages and have finally remembered to take some photos of a work in progress. This will eventually be a tea towel celebrating whoever wins the FA Cup on Saturday.

5 hours later … the digitised emb file ready for sewing
When it’s sewn I will add ribbons matching the team colours of whoever wins.
