I’ve just listed this today, it’s the second piece I’ve done inspired by some vintage embroidery transfer papers. I combined a bird with two types of flower to create a “sampler” showcasing different approaches to creating texture.

Most of my items could be classed as textile artworks, but the ones I really consider such are my shawls and wall hangings. Here’s a wall hanging/cot or pram blanket.

I had great fun creating this piece from recycled fabrics, mainly unwanted clothing and a paper hare from a very old, tatty book.
All hand stitched as I find it very relaxing.
