I did a coat of white gloss first and let it dry…the rest is done in acrylics…no idea how long it will last…lol

do you use gouache for the flowers Graham as that is such a nice bright white.
Brenda, that is hot pressed paper, I find it offers a brighter white compared to cold pressed. I have never used gouache in my life, not once. I sometimes use masking fluid but I stay true to watercolour art and any white in the painting is from the paper only.
that is interesting Graham…I am a rebel, I use white gouache, sometimes white acrylic and hush hush…a lot of BLACK…ssssh…
