Good afternoon…sorry I’m late. We didn’t go out yesterday in the end, so popped over to Sandwich today. Had a nice lunch and a walk by the river, and a visit to the fabric shop…I was only a bit naughty!

I’ve come back with a second listing today in case I don’t get here tomorrow morning! I’m expecting my sister-in-law and husband for lunch, on their way from Essex to Scotland, I’m just a tad excited. No doubt I will be here in the afternoon to catch up.

The plan: Spend today creating and photographing.
The reality: Dragged out of bed at 4 am by cats running up and down stairs and fussing. (Couldn’t sleep through it, needed my asthma meds). Used inhaler. Realised I had a raging toothache - good prep for tomorrow’s dentist appointment - went downstairs to get painkillers. Discovered one of the cats had been sick all over new sofa. Cleaned up, took drugs, waited for them to kick in. Back to bed at 6 am. Plans well and truly scuppered.
Still wouldn’t swap the cats for the world…

Hi everyone - have just caught up with all your listings, but have muddled your news with reading over 100 posts! The new kitchen work looks fab Roz @OrchardFelts. I can’t wait to be at the stage when I can order a kitchen. I haven’t even looked as I know I will fall in love with something, then find they don’t stock they model any more when it comes to buying it.
@JackBentleyKnitwear what a gorgeous little pup! My 12 year old son has just gone all gooey looking at her - he commented that she looked like the cutest ewok (sp?) from Star Wars ever, then remembered he is supposed to be a tough guy and returned to being a nearly 13yr old grumpy thing. Thank you for the moment of loveliness though xx

Thanks for the reminder about the meteor shower @beaniehats. Not sure how late I will stay up as I have an early start tomorrow, but if I wake at some strange hour (as I often do) I’ll have a look outside.

Another relist unfortunately today. Sewing on hold as hospital visiting taking lots of time. X
Daughter has arrived in Africa and I think is OK. Assuming no news is good news!
Another re list today as I am pretty sure nothing much is going to get done today. Off to take dog to groomers in a bit then got some shopping to do and some curtains to adjust and hang. Might fit in a quick visit to see my Dad. Building work continues…
