Thanks for the compliment @LouiseGraceJewellery I do agree leather and its tools do tend to take over the house.
Thanks @JAustenJewelleryDesign I have reloaded my link and I managed to get the picture to load I did wonder why it didn’t show a picture. Hope all the family get better soon.
oh my stars I remember that fabric @pipdesigns
My mother had the whole crockery set with that design -takes me right back! Lovely purse :0) xx
Afternoon folk!
Lovely and sunny in mid devon at the mo, so a quick addition to August Artisans before we pop to a blues music fest down the road!
Enjoy your Sunday xxx

@pipdesigns, my MIL bought us the entire dinner set in that pattern as a wedding present so was obliged to use it for years (groan!) it has now been replaced but we still use it occasionally when we run out of plates cos someone’s forgotten to put the dishwasher on!
@leathermeister try making sure there is a blank line before adding your link ( hit return a couple of times) also make sure there’s not a blank space at the beginning of the line as I’ve found that stops it loading too. Sometimes deleting the last character of the link works. If all else fails I sometimes paste the link into the comments box first and then edit around it! Hope this helps.
Oh dear, seems to have a lot of poorly Artisans today! Hope everyone is feeling better soon!
Have clicked to here and don’t think I can see any sales, but please let me know if I have missed any.
Had a quiet day today, Sunday lunch, then hubby and I went stone foraging on the beach, found some beauties that will hopefully polish up nicely in the stone tumbler once we get home to England!

I love that eternal beau pattern!
We went stone foraging the other day @NOfkantsCurios natalie and found some devil’s toenails and amonite fossils - kids highly delighted!
I have at last listed some of my felt brooches, here’s one
Thank you for looking at my link, it works when I click it hopefully it was just a glich @leathermeister.
Am off to work tonight, hope it will be quiet!

Hubs spent a bit of time in the garden this morning. Part of our patio had been lifting and we knew it would be roots pushing it up but we didn’t expect to find this lot
This is what he cut out
We think it is ivy but it’s difficult to tell as it goes under the fence which has a motorway embankment the other side with ivy, a fairly small tree and bushes.

Some of you might remember that I when I started out on Folksy I sold on behalf of my Mum as well, that’s how the shop name came into being, our street names, rose ave and oakapple cresc!
My mum does botanical illustrations, but now she’s off and away selling on her own, able to manage an ipad - never thought the day would come!!- and so I don’t sell her things anymore. I do have a few left though, and so I’ve reduced these ACEO’s to £1 if anyone is interested.

ps there are a couple more paintings in the shop - if you are interested you can make an offer

Hiya everyone,
All pinned to here.
@pipdesigns gosh I remember eternal beau well! That’s a blast from the past
Jacqueline @JAustenJewelleryDesign how are you all feeling? Hope you all are feeling a lot better
We’ve had lovely weather here in the north east today, fab drying day!! Thank goodness!!
Pop back later, Steph xx
Oh Carol @Knittingtopia I feel your pain on the roots front, we have just cleared a 20 ft by 20 ft area of tree roots as thick as my thighs from the back garden coming from a humongous pine tree in the neighbouring garden. It was a trip hazard for my kids so we had no choice but to lift them. Now we just need to level the area off and put slabs down and we have a useable garden for the first time
All pinned and loved to here, back to the hot water bottle for me
I’ve got several items just inches away from completion but have had a very busy weekend so just a relist from me today:
So many lovely things! Have clicked and pinned to here although I struggled to get everything to pin (sorry if I’ve missed your item!).
Evening all - where did today go to - I was busy in the kitchen this morning - then lunch - then our son and d - in law cam round - lovely to see them and chat - another cup of tea etc and so finally here I am. Caught up with all the pinning tweeting and loving - Ellie @oakapplerose - many thanks for your lovely comments - that particular cushion took hours as I embroidered the piece of silk fabric before making it up - it was lovely to do though. Steph @StephanieGuy - welcome back from your hols - please you had a good one and I love your Cockerel. Jacqueline @JAustenJewelleryDesign - pleased to read your little ones are a bit better today but look after yourself. My listing now has to be a relist - I am just finishing some Scarecrow Bunting to go up in our Local Pub to advertise our Scarecrow Festival at the end of the month and it needs to go up like yesterday - I then have a commission for some cushions etc for a couple for their boat - all river birds - then perhaps I can start something new for on here.
A Patchwork Scrappy Cushion - Log Cabin with decorative embroidery - Now must finish these Scarecrows - be back later - Maureen
I feel like a useless Artisan! I AM lurking around in the background and keeping up with all your news and pinning etc, but I just don’t seem to be able to get my act together - perhaps it’s because of the impending move? My next big worry is that I don’t earn enough salary to pay for the rent on a new place as they don’t seem to take into consideration tax credits or child maintenance which make sup the majority of my income. I’m going into the agents tomorrow to try and get a definite answer on what they will and won’t accept, so keep everything crossed for me.
@JAustenJewelleryDesign Jaqueline, my,you sound like you’ve got your hands full - I hope your babies are better soon, it’s such a worry when they are little. Life’s a lot easier with teenagers!
@stephshortstationery, Steph, glad to see you back - I’ve ordered my bookmarks, but don’t panic about getting them out to me as they are only for me - you get your Glencoe washing mountain sorted first.
@Glehcar, Rachel, I’ve answered on the other thread. I’ll see you next Saturday - let’s have cake!!
I’ve got loads of lucite flowers to relist - the last of the ones that didn’t sell when I had my sale. Shall I reduce them a bit more? Would that tempt anyone? I really need to get rid of stock before the move.
I’ll be back in the morning to catch up and sort out my lucite.
Hugs to all those that need them (and that includes those dealing with holiday washing mountains).
Liz

and @NOfkantsCurios please can I report FOUR sales whoop whoop Rachel
Hi all,
I’m really late on parade tonight. Too busy enjoying the good weather.
Natalie, I have sold 3 cards today for the tally please. Thanks to a fellow Artisan!!
Jeanie x
Hello fellow Artisans
I’m working my way up the listings again lol.
I’ve been in Chester this weekend with friends so I haven’t been able to list anything.
I’m feeling a little sorry for myself at the moment. I’m pottering around with a bandaged up left ankle and crutches…
I’m so cross at myself. I fell down a couple of steps in a pub in Chester ( I wasnt drunk honest
)
Well its very painful and I’m booked in for an Xray tomorrow morning so fingers crossed its a sprain and not fractured.
I’m not getting on very well with my crutches they rub my arm
Also when leaving the walk in centre using them for the first time I embarrassed myself stumbling through the waiting room like a buffoon
People make it look so easy when they are gracefully moving along on them.
I think lots of practise is in order
Catch u tomorrow
Karen

Oh no Karen! I hope you are ok and that the x-ray doesn’t show anything sinister. Thinking of you. xx
Thank you Liz and Maureen (and everyone else who has asked) Sadly, I am not feeling much better. My ear pain is awful, even when dosed up with paracetamol/ibuprofen. Going to lay on the sofa with a wheat bag in a bit and see if the warmth helps. My cough isn’t any better either. Feels as if someone has scoured my lungs with wire wool - kind of them! If it doesn’t get any better I might have to see the Dr.
Managed to put a few items into draft today, so if I don’t feel up to making, I have some new goodies to show you. Little ones seem much better. My two year olds rash seems to be fading a bit and he hasn’t had a temperature today, so all good there. Erin has a lovely rash. Off her food but still happy - she is an angel. Her temperature has gone right down too, so all good. Why do they always get ill at weekends? I am going to see if I can get an appointment for them tomorrow, just to get them checked over.
Well, off for a hot date with a wheat bag. All caught up and admired - love the earrings Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery.
See you all tomorrow.

Sending you and your family get well wishes too Jacqueline @jaustenjewellerydesign
