Sorry I didn’t get on here yesterday but it was my Father-in-law’s funeral and I had a few(!) glasses of wine afterwards so felt a little bit too ‘out of it’ to be trusted on a computer!!

Thanks Carol, everything went fine and as he was 88 it wasn’t unexpected but we’ve had a 3week wait for the funeral (my daughter had to go to Borneo on a Uni field trip 4 days after he died and only got back the day before yesterday) so we seemed to be in limbo until then and could finally not exactly relax but try to get on with life once the service was over.

Parchment work takes a lot of practice but I just love it - the hours just disappear as it does with any crafting eh?
