The theme for this week is , seens we’ve had a little bit of sunshine, is ‘Citrus’ colours, any ‘juicy’ colours you’ve got!
Of course, if you have nothing that fits the bill anything will be ok, just keep the thread busy.
Hiya all!
Sorry I’m late in starting the thread , had a few appointments this morning.
Hope the theme is ok for you all. It’s amazing what a bit of sun gets you thinking about…lol!
Thanks to Carol @cariadcrafts11 and everyone else for the thread last week.
Here’s mine today to start us off

Hi all!
Lovely and warm and sunny here today, hope it’s the same wherever you are, I’m thinking it must be because everyone has disappeared…lol!
Here’s mine today
Hello - I have just listed some new things (first time in a loooong while lol) and thought this zingy tulip might fit the bill. Got a busy day today but I promise next week I will join in and be a better Folksy friend!! I have gots lots of new goodies to share but just haven’t had a chance to do much online!!
I hope you don’t mind me saying this, but have you ever considered signing your cards - like mine, with a physical signature). It would reinforce the hand made nature of your lovely cards and if people do end up framing them, makes them a bit more ‘artsy’. I do that for my hand made textile cards, just signing with a nice sharp graphite pencil , and the idea for me is that if people then frame them, they have a little bit of my textile art on their walls. PS I have favourited a few of them so hopefully you might get some front page exposure!
Oh Heidi, thank you, what a lovely idea, I hadn’t thought of that before. Will have to practice as we don’t sign things like cheques as regularly, they may all come out differently!!! Thank you! The only thing I have thought of is the fact I pad my cards, so it will not be so easy to frame them, may have to think of another backing method!!
And thanks for the likes today!!
Sue x
You’re welcome - your cards are lovely! When I sign mine, it’s not my real signature (that I would use to sign a cheque for example) but just me essentially writing out my name. My real signature is illegible so I decided to have an ‘art only’ signature too! If the cards are thick, the person who would want to frame them would just need to find more of a box frame, something with a deeper rebate, so maybe your listing could have a sentence added to the bottom to explain that.
