Hi All. Does anyone have items in craft shops? Do you have to insure your items yourself? Thanks in advance. Liz
When selling in a shop of any kind I would expect a contract and T&Cs which spells out who is responsible for what, a bit like when you sell on here. In the shops I have sold in, they are responsible for the items whilst they are in their shop, e.g. theft, damages etc. However I’m responsible for the item itself to ensure it complies to any safety legislation etc so I’m insured for that.

The shops I sell through are insured against damage and theft.
I have seen some rent a shelf type shops claiming that they are not responsible - so worth checking details carefully.
