Hi Angela, We have a range of items that may be suitable including wood turned pens, coin trays etc. Feel free to have a look: http://folksy.com/items/4874872-Elm-Wooden-Pen-with-Chrome-Fittings-Wood-Turned
I donāt know if any of the items in my shop would be suitable. I use natural gemstones in my work. I have some lovely ammonites - which might take care of the history and nature interest in one. Not listed as yet, but I could make a piece for you if you like?

Special supper with candles and a home made cakeā¦then a walk under the stars afterwardsā¦
That sounds so romantic, Astrid. I will tell hubby I would like that on my birthday - knowing my luck, I would have to bake the cake myself, cook tea, then it will rain!

well it does workā¦i did it for my husband, except the cake came out badly as im not a great cook.Luckily though i had enough time to nip down to a special shop to buy him a cakeā¦so he thought i had made it by hand the evening was a big successā¦it was a bit sneaky though, with regards to the um cake! but the rest of the meal was made by me.
So pleased you both had a lovely time - your secret is safe with us!

Some lovely ideas here. You might like a new wallet Iāve just added in my shop. I love making these and this is a new tweed that I get direct from a weaver on the Island of Lewis - woven in her own back yard!
